Craft and Design Month Winners!

The Winner of our Craft & Design Month competition

Well it’s been a busy week here at CB Towers, we've been out and about hosting jewellery parties and meetings other small businesses to discuss new proposals in the hope we can work together – it’s exciting times at the moment.  We’ll keep you posted as to when and where they happen. 

Now, last week we told you it was Craft & Design month and as a bit of fun and support to the handmade community we wanted to showcase some pieces from other fab designers based in the UK.   So last week we received lots of pictures from crafters in the hope that we’d showcase their item on our blog.  We've been spoilt for choice on pieces to pick and we found It  really hard to choose just 10! 

So, without further a do, here are our Top Ten picks.

10th position - C3PO & Ewok

In 10th position we have  Danielle Mansell of Booties by Dannie – she’s made these cute little Star Wars characters for your little ones. 

She also makes cute baby booties, hats and other accessories.

9th place - Beaded Barefoot Sandlals

At number 9 we have Susan Jackson of Jewellery by Suzie who has made these gorgeous pair of barefoot sandals, great for wearing around the pool or beach on holiday.

8th position - Prism the Pig

Next in 8th position is  K Wall of Top Sock Drawer – for all manner of sock creatures!  All items are made by using new socks and non-allergic fillings.  Each items comes with a name tag to give it that personal touch.

7th place - Nature Bracelet

In 7th position we have Kathy Lake of BusyBeadz. 

She has created this lovely inspired by nature bracelet. Kathy has her own website here.

6th Position - Dolly Sox

Now, in 6th place we have Shaz of Oddsox who has created these fabulous sock dolls.  All of her items are made from new socks and recycled woollen jumpers.

5th Place - Kindle Case

In 5th we have Rosie of BaggieAggie with this retro padded Kindle case.  She also makes cases for most of your technical gadgets such as phone cases, business card wallets, passport holders and more.

4th Position - Journal/Notebook

In 4th place we have Lorna Wright of Dab and a Dash with this great funky journal.  This has been made from a recycled childrens t-shirt.  It’s just fab!  I think you'll agree.

Top 3 - Vintaj Brass Bracelet

In 3rd place we have Claire Humpherson of Beads Direct, she has made this absolutely stunning Vintaj Brass Bracelet.

2nd Position - Stained Glass Star Suncatcher

In at number 2  we have Christine McKnight of Raven's Stained Glass.  We absolutely love this suncatcher and can imagine it will look stunning hanging in any window!

and finally THE WINNER

In 1st place - 'Twiggy' Cushion

Our winner is Jackie Goodchild of Mana Cushions with this gorgeous hand embroidered ‘Twiggy’ cushion  We absolutely adore this!!!  Well done Christine!
